Julio Catano is currently the Head of Musical Theatre Dance at Texas State University. He is a Native Spanish and fluent English speaker. He received his BFA in dance from The Ailey School/Fordham University and an MFA in musical theatre from San Diego State University. He has spent the past 20 years as a performer, producer, director, choreographer and educator in the United States and abroad. Julio is the founder of Teatro San Diego, a nonprofit organization aiming to curate professional productions that reflect the actual population of San Diego, CA. His passion is the continued effort in providing equal access to arts education in communities and neighborhoods that are under-represented and under-funded. Julio has a Professional Grant Writing Certificate from San Diego State University.

She/Her

Christa Oliver is an educator, activist, dancer, choreographer, and an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University. She received a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies and a Master of the Arts degree in Dance Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She is also a Mellon Fellow in the School of Theater and Performance Research at Harvard University. She has danced professionally in Amsterdam, Austria, England, France, Germany, Italy, Kosovo, and Mexico. She was the dance captain and soloist with the national tour of The Color Purple and was a dancer in the films Avatar and Crazy on the Outside.

Tom Debello is a Co-head of Musical Theatre and Head of Production and New Works at Texas State University. They hold a MFA in Directing from Texas State University. As a director they have worked as an associate director at regional theatres such as The Zach Theatre in Austin, and Theatre Under the Stars in Houston. Select acting credits include, the world premier and Toronto companies of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Boys in the Photograph and the North American tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Deonté L. Warren was born and raised in Nashville, TN. The incredible Gospel scene in the music city was an early influence forming Warren’s love for music and singing. He received a BM in Music Theatre from Belmont University and a Masters of Music in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy at Carthage College. Warren has performed worldwide including the tours of Dreamgirls and Sister Act that took them across the United States and Canada, as well as Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. Warren was most recently seen in Aladdin on Broadway as the Standby for Genie, Babkak, and The Sultan. As a teacher they have taught out of a private voice studio since 2014 and currently serves as a Senior Voice Instructor with The Voice Lab, Inc. and Assistant Professor of Music Theatre/Voice at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.

Rebekah Chappell is a teaching artist, performer, and dance maker from Williamsburg, Virginia. She holds an MFA in Dance from The University of Iowa and a BFA in Dance from Shenandoah University. She has taught dance in studios, community programs, public and private schools, and universities across the country. In addition, she is an Alexander Technique Teacher, grounding her work in the field of social somatics. Rebekah has had an extensive performance career as a solo and ensemble artist. Her solo projects are grounded in emergence and transformation, conjuring states of being through movement, writing, and vocalization.

Jackson Perrin is a performer, singer-songwriter, and vocal coach on faculty for Texas State University’s Musical Theatre program. Since attending Texas State for Musical Theater, Jackson received his certification and master certification in One Voice and has taught privately for eight years. He’s helped hundreds of singers from various training backgrounds and genres achieve their vocal goals while passionately focusing on applying technical theories and craft into practical use on the field. Jackson has also co-founded The Recipe, a Brooklyn-based musician collective, which provides a weekly improvised live-music session for emerging artists throughout Brooklyn with a focus on inclusivity and intentional creativity.

Mark Price is an integrative wellness coach helping to ignite a sense of embodied living and authenticity for creatives and entrepreneurs. Mark specializes in teaching courses in Vedic meditation as well as somatic practices to deepen embodiment and release chronic stress and trauma. In addition to being founder of Alchemy Collective, he's taught for various studios and schools as well as leading corporate training and coaching programs both here in the U.S as well as internationally. As an actor Price’s credits span theatre, film and television. Broadway credits include:: Mary Poppins, All Shook Up, Wonderful Town, Rocky Horror Show, Mamma Mia!, Dance of the Vampires, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Capeman, and Chicago.

Matthew Scott is an educator, actor, and director. He resides on the faculty of the New Studio On Broadway at the Tisch School Of The Arts, and the Manhattan School of Music. He is the former Creative Education Director of Broadway Dreams, a not-for-profit Arts organization. Matthew is a veteran of multiple Broadway plays and musicals including An American In Paris, Sondheim On Sondheim, A Catered Affair, Grand Horizons, and the original company of Jersey Boys. Matthew is a proud graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
